In growingly diverse academic and professional settings, inclusive leadership is paramount. This 3-hour training in leadership dialogue aims to equip graduate students with the skills necessary to lead, communicate, and work in diverse settings, such as international development or diplomacy. In this interactive training, students will work in pairs, small groups, and teams to practice empathetic listening, respectful communication, and cultural understanding. Through the exchange of ideas, listening, and learning from each other in a peaceful and respectful environment, this leadership dialogue will train future leaders who will lead through values of peace and harmony in our communities.
This training is facilitated by Sakun Gajurel, a Humanitarian and Development Sector Professional, Leader, Writer and Peace Builder. She is a 2021 University of Pittsburgh Emerging Global Leader, sponsored by UCIS.
